I like using Mozilla firefox, but whenever i go to download something and it says run or save, the ok icon doesn't become selectable for a while, sometimes forever. Does it scan the file first, or what? Is there any way to turn it off?

Just clicking on the button once should make it ungrayed. This has been in Firefox, so I think it is intended. I do not know of a way offhand to turnit off, but I'll check.

this happens to me too.. just click out (on the bottom start bar or something) and click back in and it should pop up real fast, if that doesnt work just keep doing it over again or x out of the save as window and click on the download again

If in case the ok button doesnt comes,press enter key.I too had those problem in Mozilla.Else you can use the plugins that are available free,which manages downloads.I use the one which helps be to download better.Also look for latest versions of Firefox
