Well i bought the new Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 today. I install the software like they say in the installation guide, but half way they ask me to activate my copy of Kaspersky Int. Sec. online, by using the activation code on the reverse side of the CD envelope. Like they said, i did everything, i wrote the right code and clik next. But suddenly a small window showed up and tell me that the activation was unable to connect to the server. I did not understand because my internet connection was ON, and i could go on the net as much as i wanted.
So, is the code that they gave me WRONG? Or is there something that i missed? Or is the code already USED? Please answer me, i really need help. Thank you.
(By the way, i can not also access to the Kaspersky official web site for help, is there any reason too?)

you need to follow up with this and check further, you can always post a HijackThis log request at the MalwareCrypt HijackThis logs and Malware Removal Forum here:

It could be something as simple as the server was to busy or something wrong there. Try again later. Or' You already have a infection on your machine that is stopping you from accessing there server.

i have installed kaspersky internet security version 8.0.0.454 on my windows vista computer successfully. however when i try to activate online with my activation code, it says i may not be connected to the internet, after a phone call to my internet provider they say its because my firewall is turnt on and to temporarily disable it and try again, i tried that and it still wont activate. im only a beginner on computers so dont know if i missed something when trying to disable firewall. i am at loose end with this and why cant computers be a lot easier to use for us beginners. i would appreciate any help. thankyou.
