i have a desktop computer and a laptop,
they both have avg anti-virus and ad-aware
and the softwares dont ever update in my laptop
but do on my computer
this is the problem i always get: on both adware are anti-virus
update: INTERNET CONNECTION FAILED
and NO CONNECTION TO DOWNLOAD SERVER
the problem is my lapton does have internet
so idkk
how to fix this?

umm go on your anti-spyware and click on run live-update,do it yourself :P.

that will happen if your using very old versions of both (i know with ad aware SE, it says that the product is no longer supported when you try and update)
best thing I can probably tell you is to download both the newest versions of both AVG and Ad-Aware (both are available from download.com), uninstall the old versions and install the new ones (you’ll probably have to restart once or twice)

I had this same exact problem with AVG. I just stopped using AVG and went back to Norton 2003 since I had a free version of it that I could use again and again after it expired just by formatting my system.
