FIRST, use Avast to do a boot-time scan of your computer.

That should remove any virus that is sneaking past the online avast scanner.

Yahoo has no virus! Your computer is fine!

It was a confirmed false-positive detection by Avast anti-virus that began with Avast's earlier update today. The official word from Avast is that the issue will be fixed with the next Avast VPS update.

Full info is at the Avast Forum at the avast website.

I just got my new Avast update at 8:24 EDST. All is fine now!

Keep manually checking for this new Avast update manually…just right click the Avast "a-ball" icon > Updating > iAVS Update.

      Good luck.
