My avg programme is reading a programme as a virus so wont let me open it?

May 12th, 2008 · 3 Comments

avg claims that my programme is a virus, even though i have been using it for the past 3 days. i tried to open it after returning home from school today, but avg said that it contains a virus. Is there some way that i can clear the name of the programme so that avg will let it run?

I've never done this, cuz I trust my AVG…. which makes me wonder what the program is…. but open the virus vault and see if its listed. If so, select it and see if the button on top that says "Restore file…"

I don't know if this would work, like I said. If not….

      What's the program?

It is very easy. Go in virus vault . your file must be there just select it and select restore as .when you run your application it will give you virus warning then select ignore .off you go
