I downloaded the free version of avg 8.0 a week ago. I've been noticing that the program wasn't automatically updating(unlike 7.5 which updated everyday and scanned everyday). I tried to run a scan on my computer by opening up the interface clicking on the icon for scan computer, and hitting scan now. The program didn't launch a scan. I also tried launching the scan program by going to tools and choosing scan computer now, still nothing. I removed the free version of 8.0 and downloaded the trial internet secruity version. I was left with the same result no scan on computer startup, clicking the icon, or going to tools. Does anyone know why this isn't working or what i have to do?

What you have to do is go to http://www.avast.com and get a good anti-virus,unlike AVG
