I had the "Blue Screen of Death" today and my computer began to restart. It is running Windows Vista and whenever it gets to the "Microsoft Corportation" loading bar, the blue screen appears and I can not log onto windows itself. I tried running in safe mode but that fails the same way. When I ask it to load the drivers, it gets to the "crcdisk.sys" and then has the blue screen and doesn't load and restarts again. The startup repair did not help my situation as I could not do any kind of system restore. I tried loading from my Vista CD but the only option that I can successfully get to is a clean install of Windows. I think something is wrong with the HDD and it can not load some driver to boot windows. Is there any site that has the necessary drivers that I can boot from to load windows and back up my files before doing a clean restore (if so, can I have the url)? Any help is appreciated so I can back up my files before doing a restore.
I have a Dell XPS M1530 by the way.
Last Known Configuration failed as well. Everything in the Safe Mode F8 screen does not appear to work.
I was unable to read the BSOD message before, but now I can tell that the error message is:
"STOP: 0×0000007B (0×80403BAO, 0xc0000034, 0×0000000, 0×0000000)"
