and then install my micro trend Pro version?
if i were to go into safe mode, scan my computer again, would the viruses be able to be deleted?
i am not taking antivirus suggestions. read the question before posting
my question is if i run in safe mode the viruses will be deleted or would micro trend be better? not spy bot, not avast, not avira…micro trend

Try using Avast Antivirus. If you have not updated Norton you can uninstall it before installing some other antivirus. Else you can disable active protection of Norton, and try some other antivirus. Dont keep active protection of more than one antivirus on at the same time.

Don't uninstall norton. It's much better than trend micro even if it's bloated. Scanning in safe mode might remove the trojans, but I can't guarantee it. If not, DON'T install trend micro. Install the latest trial of Kaspersky (www.kaspersky.com) and remove the viruses. Make sure that you haven't uninstalled Norton. After installing the trial, you can safely remove Norton. Then do a full scan IMMEDIATELY and it'll remove the viruses.

Why you ask that? If Norton find trojan horse which he can not delete he will put them in quarantaine, and it is safe their he will delete them later himself. When you have norton internet security, he will not allow trojan horses on your system, and those who did get in it he will go after them to catch them. We are not talking about Antivirus but about internet security, because paying for only antivirus is waste of money. I run on this pc now for more than 2 years with norton internet security, when a trojan horse try to come in before he is at my door the norton blocks it already, only 2 times it happened a horse did get in but i had not any problem with it because the norton did act and getted him catched before he could do anything.
Many people advise free protection and it is good like avg and so…. but i pay for norton internet security, so i am safe don't have to do anything norton is always on my side, but i pay for it i don't sit on my money for protection on the internet.
I hope this is an answer on your question because most of people don't answer the questions nomore but are advertising for new antivirus companys, it's a shame.
