It is probably a Trojan so first disconnect your computer from the internet and then restart your computer and then run a virus scan on your PC.

Buy more RAM, more PC closer to router, (if your are playing a game) buy better video card…
      Computers are great huh?

Try a spy ware scan(spy bot s&d or adaware). Check your BHO's and active x for anything suspicious. Adjust virtual memory possiably. Is it just the intenet connection or is it every program run?

      download
      superantispyware
      ccleaner

not giving you an anti-virus as you say you have already scanned

      run the programs above

      use ccleaner regularly

      run disk defragmentor
      remove unnecesary items

      and if needed, upgrade pc

You need to do some troubleshooting to narrow the problem. I'm assuming you have some version of Windows.

Right-click the taskbar (next to the Start menu) and click "Task Manager." Click the Processes tab. Check out the CPU column. It is the percentage of your processor's time that each program is using. "System Idle Process" should be taking most of it. Otherwise check the program using your CPU. Still many different things could be wrong but that gives you a starting point.

If no program is using too much CPU time (i.e. System Idle Process is using most CPU time), then check hard drive space. A full hard drive would cause this problem too. Just open My Computer and click the C drive once. It will tell you how full it is on the left. If it is full then you simply need to delete or move old files from the drive. A program called SpaceMonger can help you determine which files are using the most space.

Start there and see if that gets you started. Hope it helps!

try superantispyware they have an excellent free edition if you can't afford 2 lifetime licenses for 30 buck (get a friend..?)the free version doesn't run in real time but it's excellent nonetheless. Like the other guy said you'll want to download the program…disconnect from the Internet….then install the program. once it's installed I would however recommend that you run the program in safe mode. disconnecting from the net will help you get rid of the reboot hacktool that resides in your D:drive system restore volume and simply re-installs the Trojan or whatever again. P.S. If you opt for the free version plz consider making a small donation 5 bucks won't kill you as these guys are very good on every level. Good luck
