Ok, so I have Windows Vista on a Toshiba laptop. It has 2 GB of RAM. Is this alot, not alot, meh amount?
Anyway, all of a sudden, my computer is acting really slow, in all aspects. The internet, running programs, anything. It’s really annoying. However, it doesn’t do it all the time. Any way to fix this? It’s so sporadic, I don’t know.
How can I make my computer run faster?

For Vista, you should have at least 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM to run it really well. You should do a disk clean up, and a disk defragmentation, you should also remove any programs or application you don’t really use.

You have several solutions here is a list.
My computer >properties>on the right click advanced system settings>click under performance the button then to advanced tab at the top and go to virtual memory and whatever is allocated times that number by 1.5 or 2 to increase your paging file
then disk cleanup >click my computer>rightclick the drive>then the button disk cleanup
then disk defragmenter >startmenu>accesories look for the defragmenter

The simplest and sure shot solution is take a back up and format the system.
