I have deleted very many programs off of it, that didn't speed it up. I even did the thing where you move everything from your desktop to C drive and disabled all of those options in msconfig. That DID speed my computer up, but not my internet (youtube vids etc)
What are some options I have to speed it up that are free?
I have Spysweeper, and I think its a good protector so I don't think a virus is the problem.

My internet usually goes pretty slow, and i find that just deleting tempory files speeds things up a bit.
also if you go to "control panel" -> "performance and maintenence" there are options on how to free some space on your hard drive.
i have probably been no help whatsoever, but yeah

you need to do a disc clean up and then defragment your computer.

clear your cache that should work if not move files not used to a disc or to a closed folder till u want to use then open later
