Hi
1-Speedup Folder Browsing
You may have noticed that everytime you open my computer to browse folders that there is a slight delay. This is because Windows XP automatically searches for network files and printers everytime you open Windows Explorer. To fix this and to increase browsing significantly:
Open My Computer
Click on Tools menu
Click on Folder Options
Click on the View tab.
Uncheck the Automatically search for network folders and printers check box
Click Apply
Click Ok
Reboot your computer
2-Remove the "Loading" of windows XP:
Open "c:\boot.ini" after you hae enabled the show hidden files and folders (control panel–>folder options–>view–>show hidden files and folders–>uncheck hide protected operating system files) add this line with the space to the last line (don't press "enter":
/noguiboot
then the line will look like this:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /noguiboot
3-Disable unused programs at startup (start–>run–>msconfig–>startup)
Don't remove anything you don't know what is it for.
