I have a dell xps m1210 notebook computer that I've have had for about a year now. Its always worked well until about 2 weeks ago. I was drinking orange juice and spilled maybe about a drop onto the keyboard and suddenly my N,B,/?,and space key don't work. Well I got that dust off stuff and sprayed the keyboard and lap top for cleaning in hopes of improvement. Well I think I screwed it up even more because its super slow now. I deleted and uninstalled tons of files and programs, did a virus scan, defragmented the system and still no luck. It freezes and takes forever to load things and the sound is delayed too. When I sprayed the comp it sprayed cold ice liquid to it which cause it to make this "sizzling" noise. Also the battery has been completely dead for like 5 months now. Notebook only functions when plugged in. Any advice or ideas? Thanks!

sounds like the juice dried up between circuits and is causing a short. the easiest way around this is a new keyboard.

Turn off your laptop and start pressing EVERY key on the keyboard several times, make sure all the keys are bouncing back at a similar speed. One of they keys could be stuck down, which could be making your computer run crazy. The "sizzling" noise is normal from the air spray, its just a chemical reaction.
Borrow a USB keyboard or buy a cheap one and see if it makes a difference. You might want to try and unplug the laptop keyboard 1st, that'll be another project itself.
