My computer received a malware/spyware and wont let me delete it.

August 9th, 2008 · 5 Comments

On the background of my other computer, it says “warning! spyware detected on your computer! install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer.” so, i tried to open up my existing antivirus and it wouldnt let me open that. So then i tried downloading more antivirus programs and they still wouldnt open. So then i tried to go into “add or remove programs.” and it still wouldnt open. I tried everything, system reboot, defrags, restore, etc. I need to find a way to open my programs. Everything still works on the computer, but it just wont open files or programs that can delete the virus itself. please be specific.

yes, some nasty stuff can do that, they wont allow you to open anything harmful to them
basically this means the best anti-spyware wont be able to help you if you cant run its install file
      do this, go to:
      http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

      and run an online scan,
if this doesnt help, do a reformat
