My computer will not download file attachments from email. using yahoo and windows xp home?

August 24th, 2008 · 4 Comments

When I try to download, the attachment goes through virus check and I get the save or open option. On either one the process starts and runs but never finishes. Even the smallest files won’t open/save. How do I correct this problem?

      1. Check your Firewall settings.
      2. If still not working check your anti-virus seeting ( Assuming the file you want to DL has one)
      3. Internet options - If you are not using a administrators log-in profile check for parental control. Downloading Options may be blocked.
4 Call you ISP (Internet Service Provider). From what I know, They provide free technical help.

      Good Luck!
