chkdsk: /f or something like that, but I can't get the computer to do anything apart from show me the blue screen, which only says Windows could not be loaded because of a fear of a virus (or something like that). How can I fix this?
It will not let me go into safe mode. Upon starting, it gives me a selection of four options (safe mode, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration, and normal), none of which will load. It just immediately takes me to the blue screen and will not let me out of it. It tells me to run the check disk if I see the screen again but it doesn't let me out of the screen to run the check disk.
It must be the blue screen of death, but I was just surprised that it would tell me what to do and not let me do it.

it wants to check your hard drive for errors
let it run the chkdsk, that usually stops it
