The Advanced Boot Options menu lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts.

to me it sounds like the raid drivers are messed up could be the following problems: Chipset is to old (vista doesn't support the default raid drivers; obtain raid drivers for hdds/chipset if avalible), Raid is not set up properly (your raid configuration needs to be fixed in bios/raid config could be a number of issues), new install disk (the install disk is crouped; contact Microsoft or computer manufacture for new disk). There are a list of possibilities i only stated the main possible issues. note: Raid (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) means your computer runs 1 os from multiple disks for faster data access or back up purposes. In a nut shell don't kill me people im jest trying to explain the basics. Now the problem your having is uncommon most chip sets jest eliminate the array for windows as a disk and vista is vary good at supporting raid drives.
