Alright, so here's the skinny. This will mostly happen only after starting Firefox for the first time after logging into my computer account.
This doesn't happen all of the time, but on occasion when Firefox is brought up, a bunch of it turns out to have been reset. For example, all settings in the Tools>Options will have been set to default, and some addons that I have like DownloadThemAll and McAfee SiteAdvisor will have their Terms and/or Welcome pages pop up.
Other addons, like ForecastFox will be set to their default settings. Also, once in a while, my Bookmarks will have disappeared, although not nearly as often.
Now, I know how all of the settings were beforehand, so I can easily change them back, and if the Bookmarks disappear, I know how to retrieve them. My question however is what is causing this, and what can I do to keep this from happening so often?

Are you closing Firefox properly when you shut down? It sounds like some preferences might not be being written out.
Hope that helps.

Sometimes you have to go through your add ons, one at a time, to find the culprit…I'm willing to bet that one of them is doing that. It's a glitch some of them have.
Happened to me when I used un plug–dumped it and went back to download helper.
Sign up at the Fire Fox support page…the programmers answer questions there; if it's a known glitch, they'll have a ready fix.
