All my passwords and bookmarks are on there and i cannot access it.My outlook is set up to it so now i cannot click any mail to open unless i copy the link and go through the internet explorer.I have tried everything i can think of to fix it and NOTHING.
Well i tried the delete program run scan reinstall and it still does not work and the virus scan states no virus.I am totally lost on this one.
thanks to everyone who answered.None of your ideas worked but i appreciate the help.I had version 2 so i downloaded version 3 and it is working great.

download and run a program called CC Cleaner…it should fix the registry for you..cheers

Have you checked your firewalls or security settings? When I installed firefox, one of my firewalls was preventing the application from running.

Do a full virus check and a spyware check

Do the virus scand in Safe Mode.. Firefox might also work in that, too, if it does it proves it's a virus.
there's a bunch of viruses getting around that target Firefox, though they usually just put silly messages on.

Uninstall the firefox. delete the folder in the program files. run a registry cleaner. restart the computer. make sure you run a registy cleaner and the mozila folder in the program files is deleted.
then, install the mozilla firefox again…
