I've run all the typical programs, registry cleaners, virus scanners, defrag, disc clean up, ect. At first, internet explorer is fine, but then the more I use it, say after a half hour it just gets so slow. I've tried firefox as well and that doesn't seem to help. My comp just seems to slow down after about 30 mintues. Nothing had changed memory or RAM wise. I've not downloaded or used up any more memory. This just all of a sudden started up. Help.

That's pretty common, actually. To really get a good answer, there's much more information that needs to be out here, like your system specifications, web usage patterns, what the system monitor shows when this happens, etc..
My biggest idea - if you close IE, does that fix it?? If so, then IE is just taking up too much memory and you need to change the memory settings for it..
