When I try to sync my ipod to a computer without any music, it wants to delete all of the music on my ipod. Since not all of my songs are actually SYNCED to my ipod, will everything disappear, or will it stay? The items are not saved onto my computer…
Please help!

My ipod touch 16gb 2g keeps randomly freezing up. I restart it pressing power and home, and it restarts. It gets stuck on that screen for like 15 minutes, then i restart it again a few times. Is there anybody else having this problem?
What about the videos and apps that are on my itunes? I can't save those to my computer that I know of…

Alex, you can indeed safely uninstall and reinstall iTunes. However, before you uninstall, copy your library off to the directory of your choice to ensure that all of your music remains intact. Once the uninstall is completed, open the registry editor (regedit.exe) to ensure that the registry key was successfully deleted (explore HKEY_CURRENT_USER in the editor). If it still exists in the Apple, Inc. folder, right-click it and choose 'Delete'. This will ensure a clean install. Once the install is complete, move your library back into the new iTunes directory; be advised that you will have to reauthorize the music in your library, but you are good to go after reauthorization.
Haven't had the iTouch issues you have described. Good luck.

try it on a different computer maybe? and if all your music on your Ipod is deleted without being on your computer and all your Ipod music is deleted, yes it will be gone, but hey, you can always erdownload your music.
