for a week or two the internet on my macbook stopped working. i know it isn’t my router’s problem because the internet worked on my iTouch and desktop computer. then today, the screen turned black, but the computer is still on cause the light on the bottom right corner is still on. this has happened before but the screen would turn back on if i put the charger on, pressed esc, or pressed the power button. it’s been a while and the screen is still black. can it be that limewire and frostwire has taken over my macbook? i still have warranty (and apple care) so if i take it to the macbook store, will they be able to fix it? if frostwire and limewire is the problem, will they not give me the warranty since i downloaded illegal music and that is what made my computer this way?
please help me on the policy of macbook warranty and if they will fix the macbook for free even if they know i used limewire and frostwire.

Yes they should help you because you have a warranty and for all they know you were just using limewire to share documents with your friends.

They don’t care what you do with your PC. If it’s defective, they will repair it. That’s what Apple Care is for.

Yeah, I doubt they can detect if you were using limewire or whatnot. “I was using it to transfer files to a friend”. If you do have a problem with them then maybe you can pay an outside tech, but I doubt they are going to reject fixing it.
