for a week or two the internet on my macbook stopped working. i know it isn’t my router’s problem because the internet worked on my iTouch and desktop computer. then today, the screen turned black, but the computer is still on cause the light on the bottom right corner is still on. this has happened before but the screen would turn back on if i put the charger on, pressed esc, or pressed the power button. it’s been a while and the screen is still black. can it be that limewire and frostwire has taken over my macbook? i still have warranty (and apple care) so if i take it to the macbook store, will they be able to fix it? if frostwire and limewire is the problem, will they not give me the warranty since i downloaded illegal music and that is what made my computer this way?
please help me on the policy of macbook warranty and if they will fix the macbook for free even if they know i used limewire and frostwire.

For free maybe not. But if you uninstall lime wire and frost wire they wuld have a tough time proving you used them…

Well Frostwire etc. can’t do any harm to your computer. Doesn’t sound like a virus problem either. The worst they can do is report you for having illegal music, but they may not be able to tell if it is…. I’d be careful though..

probably not, although it’s possible that a song you downloaded could of had a virus on it even though viruses for mac’s aren’t as common as for PC’s. If you get anybody to fix it it’s possible they could turn you in for illegal downloads although most likely they wouldn’t care unless you’ve downloaded hundreds or thousands of songs.
