My McAfee Site Advisor won’t remove ?

October 1st, 2008 · 1 Comment

My laptop came with the McAfee free 90 day trial, and it’s up so I uninstalled it, but site advisor wouldn’t remove, and I had internet explorer closed too, so I went to Program Files and deleted everything under that that I could. There is now under McAfee, SiteAdvisor, then 9 other files that WILL NOT delete, and now everytime I turn on my laptop, it’s telling me a file is missing! How do I get rid of it? Help!?

There is a right way & a wrong way.

The right way is to use the removal tool:
