My monitor goes black with web browser maximized?

If i use the show desktop hot key on my mouse the web browser is minimized and the screen comes back on. This is very random, sometimes the screen will just flicker on and off randomly. Monitor power light is always on.

Could be that your graphic card isn’t able to support the monitor resolution/freq.
