My Norton expires in 4 days?

April 3rd, 2008 · 9 Comments

My Norton came with the computer. I bought Panda from Staples, Panda is supposed to be really good. Anyway. Should I uninstall Norton now (not while online) and put the Panda in, or should I wait out the 4 days?

i like norton, i would just get another norton subscribtion. i havent heard of panda, for all i know its better than nortan

about ur question: just install panda now, norton will just stop working in 4 days, you can have multiple anti virus programs

just uninstall norton when it expires

It really makes no difference. I suppose you may as well let the trial run out then unistall Norton. Make you unistall the entire application so you don't run into problems with live updating later in the future from Norton.

      Hi,
sorry to tell you but you have done the wrong thing, just do this go to "Norton's" web site and download there tool for uninstalling Norton's and the use it, then do the same for "Panda". then go to http://free.grisoft.com/ and download and install "AVG" anti-virus it's free and also comes with free updates as well. this will help you.

It doesn't matter at all for as long as you will have a new security software before the first one expires. Make sure to uninstall Norton before installing Panda to avoid system conflicts. It is wiser to uninstall Norton now and install Panda. ☺☺☺

Yes uninstall it now, then use Panda as a trial until you are forced to activate it with the Key.

The important question is do you like Norton? Let it run until it expires. Then install a Security suite like Bitdefender,Trendmicro, eset or Kaspersky.Apparently Norton along with McAfee,Microsoft and Hollywood, supposedly have a history of tracking users.Incorprating Digital Rights Management built into WinXP Pro, Home Vista and CD/DVD Players.Read the article ' McAfee,Norton and Hollywood want to root your PC'.

You can't have two or more anti-virus in one computer. They can conflict each other. So you have to uninstall it not only to prevent conflict, also to save disk space :D All anti-virus are just the same, but you must to update it frequently, OK?
