  Well, can you sign into hotmail to check your e-mails? Because if you can then your xbox live account isn’t hacked. Just go to recover gamertag, type in all the info and it should be working fine.

  bad news.. then he already changed ur secret question so u cant get it like that… only thing 2 do is CALL xbox support and cancel ur live account. HE COULD GET ACCESS TO UR CREDIT CARD AND OTHER INFO.. CANCEL NOW

  andrew-all you have to do is remember your old e-mail account. remember when you made your e-mail account for your xbox live account? well remember how it said alternative e-mail address? hit forgot password and hit e-mail it, and it should e-mail it to THat address. then you can change back your secret question and get it back. dude, the guy who hacked it tried hacking mine too, he said he got 5000ms ponits from msatnopoints.tk, but the site was a hacking site. i got lucky and changed my password really quickly, so i still got my account…

  someone just got me the same way i called xbox and there investigating it they told me they would have news for me with in two weeks lol intill then i sit and wait they said they are going to try and recover my account and if they cant they well re credit me all of my stuff back 13 days and counting

  That just happend to me and i’m a very privite person no myspace or face book i don’t even talk to people online and I’ve always just bought the cards, figgerd I was safe well guess what some @$$ got onto my live account hacked my online profile stole all my point, I did manage to change my password in time but when I recovered my profile he had already changed my avitar messed with my friends list a bunch of my picks and stuff are gone and 5 min after I recovered it my system froze so I shut it off and when I turned it back on there was a red light and now my hard drives fried so now I’m just waiting till 9am for customer service cause its 1am and they won’t take my calls till 9! Man the things that I want to do to these stupid hackers! God! Why? oh this guy better hope I never find him!!!!!!!!!

  as redcard said you have no other choice than to cancel your account dont worry its not only you they hacked mine too but there is no other way fuck xbox its a risk in any way why dont you get ps3 instead you wont have to worry about another nolife having to hack your account

  Message to all: i Have seen a problem with people with a hotmail email account as thier windows live account email getting hacked so if yoiur windows live is a hotmail account change it and your password asap you will get hacked no doubt

  I’ve been hacked so many times that i know how it feels. This is alot of problems we will face in xbox live, people who hack and threaten.
  Now you gotta fight back to do this, once you here them threaten you or you get hacked, do this real quickly! TURN OFF YOUR SYSTEM!, unplug your modem, and router, wait about 15 seconds then plug everything back in, call Microsoft tell them the gamertag of the person or persons, and try not loging on to xbox live for a while, in the new NXE you can still play your fravorite things just you won’t log in.
  To do this on the My Xbox slide go to sign in, if you have a passcode then it will work, or you can just unplug any network device, when it asks for the firest passcode set enter it, when the secon one comes press B, and it will log you into the console only!

  If you use a credit card for your account quickly CANCEL!
  Its best to use prepaid cards.

  I received the “free MS Points” message from my friend on Xbox Live (she’d been hacked).
  What I did was…
  1) Cancel my card I use on Live, I’ll be using pre-paids from now on I think
  2) Changed the password on the e-mail address on my Live account, doing so meant I could access everything which suggests I wasn’t hacked but I’m buggered if I’m taking any chances)
  3) Created a NEW E-mail address then transferred control of my Live account over to that. To do that…

  On your 360, go to the Dashboard on Live
  Then go to Manage Account
  Go to Windows Live ID, then select “Change Live ID” then type in your new Live e-mail addy (e.g. ivorbigun@live.co.uk)
  Select Yes
  Enter Password. All MS Points on your Live account will be transferred so you should be quite safe after that.

  Some loser hacked my account, and when I called Xbox Live Support it was all recorded messages and it didn’t help at all so now i made a new account and I’m hoping that I can get up to my old gamerscore… =(

  Well i caleld 18004myxbox and they were dicks , they said they were gonna find it in 1-2 weeks and they were gonna call me back , but they never did , so i called them again and they said 1-4 weeks and they never did call back and the 3th time They were bitches , they said we will try to find it but its been over 2 months already , MICROSOFT SUCKS *****

  Well my account got hacked last friday.. and well i am still waiting very nervously to find out what will happen… i asked xbl to freeze my gamertag… they said they did…. i go onto Bungie.net to look at my stats and find out the @$$ had been playing from the day i reported it up to today!!! So when they “freeze” your account they lie…. The guy deleted all my friends and messed with all my halo stuff….. So i believe Microsoft is full of it!!!! i am on the verge of saying “, CANCEL THE ACCOUNT AND GIVE ME 6 MONTHS!!!”

  Oh and for the guy above…. Dont talk at all until it askes what you need and it will say “Xbox live accounts” or something else.. but wait until these two options only…. then it will send you to a person….. i had to figure this crap out too cause the automated stuff stinks…

  We recently have had problem with our security. We feel that it is unfair that all certain ass##$%% are allowed to do this. I would suggest to all that you change your password for your xbox live account frequently and do not share your passwords with anyone. It is sad enough with our economy and now we have to deal with this

  It seems that my friend got his account hacked 2 days ago. And i do not know how that could possibly happen when the email address he is using is his moms. And she logs into it perfectly and when we recovered the gamertag it didnt work so what should i do. Also there is no back up email to my friends account..   same dam thing happened to me but for some reason they didnt take my account from my xbox so im pretty lucky. i think they just wanted my credit card info but i dont have any. so with that being said it is pissing me off that i cant get recon DAMMIT BUNGIE!!!(i got all the vidmasters -.-)

  well that was/usto be my account untill it got hacked last night!i was a 7th prestige 30 on cod 4 i am so anoyed i fell bad for everryone who has ever been hacked its terrible

  it says it has been recovered on another cosole anyone got any advice plz comment
