      Go to Add/Remove programs, DUMP the yahoo messenger you have, and go to this website,,,,, http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=yahoo and install the 7.0 (my suggestion, one of which I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH).
