but the firewall did not as the firewall is free so I just installed AVG free is it compatible with zone-alarm firewall?, as I see it has a shield but as I see the AVG internet security suite has the firewall but not the AVG free. http://reviews4you.com/html/avg_8_0_internet_suite.html

u should have no probs i dont think with avg and zone alarm, one suggestion that i would give u is uninstall the security suite bundle by zone alrm …all of it and then download zone alrm fire wall free from ther site …not the suite and then install avg along with it …itll save ur memory and run smoother…this way ull have za for fire wal and avg for antivirus if ud like u can download a spyware program too …like adaware or spybot search and distroy…ud have everything then thats typically ina “suite”

get rid of both and get the comodo.com security suite it’s free and the firewall is considered the best the suite contains some great features all are user friendly

I’ve got the same problem!
I tried unistalling with every possible method and it still haunts my pc when I install a fresh copy!
The firewall works but the anti-virus expired.
