Nancy Drew won’t uninstall?

Ok I need a computer wiz here. When I was playing Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake it did not work so (it has happened before) so I went to uninstall it and the menu would come up saying to Modify, Repair or Remove, so i chose to remove because that what I wanted. I clicked and it stayed at 0% and then shot to 100% and I thought that it worked until i looked at the menu and it was still there. Does anyone know why it didn’t work? I really do need help because we did just get a new computer and I don’t it to start going slow like our old one.
