Nod32 has always been my favourite AV. Very efficient and really good.

You got big problems going on here. You should NEVER EVER have more then one anti-virus program on your compuer, if you do you will have conflict issues, such as infecttions not being dected, computer running very slow, things not being removed and things that shouldn't be removed are removed. I would keep AVG.
You most unintall all but on virus protection program. You may us any online scanner that you like to test online, but do not have more then on installed on the computer,as your main form of protection.
You can have as many spyware protection that you want, but only one virus protection and none of the above are just spyware protection, they are all virus protection, except for zone alarm, which is more of a firewall.

Generally there will be a section in the settings that allows you to exclude certain locations/files from scanning, usually labeled “Exclusions” or something else fairly obvious. In regards to the best antivirus, I personally use NOD32. I’ve used Avast! very briefly, but I know somebody who swears by it. I’ve use McAfee, and it’s pretty good as far as protection goes. It can be a bit of a memory hog, though. NOD is good about memory use, speed, and detecting malware. However, I personally found it necessary to tell it to exclude a number of locations on my hard drive, namely my iTunes folder. Norton… Oh, Norton… Bloated, and not nearly enough settings. Panda… Never used it. AVG, pretty good. Zone Alarm, never used. Kaspersky, never used either.

I have had AVG for over 15 years. The past five years I purchased mine, and you get tech support if it belongs to you.Tech support is the best I’ve ever had and I had Panda before.
Go to search re-check if all of the other virus scanner is off your computer. You can’t run two scanner, it just will not work.
