Need help with Webroot antivirus software?

Does anyone else use the Webroot Antivirus with Antispyware program?
What I really need to know is.. I just did a reinstall of the webroot program…..and I can’t get the virus and behavioral settings for the shields to activate.
I’ve seen where it’s suppose to let you click to activate..but..it’s not highlighted…so..I cannot click on it.

I’ve done 3 reinstalls of the program..as per instructed by Webroot…and I still have no results.

Has anyone had this problem?..and is there another way to resolve this?

Yes Michael…that is the boxes in question…they aren't highlighted..so..they will not let me check them to activate those functions…and Webroot has been no help in helping me resolve this.
Ok…but…if I try clicking on those boxes…it still won't let me put any check marks on them. On the home page when I start a sweep..it says virus shield off. On the subscription section..it says virus definitions ..(none)

Oops,..didn't mean to post that last part twice.
I should've specified….this wasn't an upgrade…this was a reinstall.
I had to do a complete reinstall..because I also had to do a reinstall of my operating system.
Before the reinstall of the operating system…those anti virus functions did work. Since the reinstall of the Webroot….they don't…and this is my dilemma.
No…I had the upgraded version before the first reinstall ..Yes they did email me my key code number..and that's the one I used.
