Hi i tried to play a NeFilx dvd movie this weekend and to my surprize the DVD was asking for a PassWord. I called NetFlix Support and they told me i need to reset my DVD player so i dont get that password thing appearing on my tv screen.
I tried this dvd on two different dvd players and i get the same blinking 4 dight space asking me for a password.
I’m not haveing any problems with any outher dvds includeing a bunch i just bought from Ebay and offcourse no problem with the hunderd plus dvds that i have in my collection.
I told support i’m not reseting anything and if this problem continues i will just cancel my subcription, the person from NetFlix support said
they are sorry i feel that way but thats all they can do.
Has anyone else ran into this problem and what would you do “reset all your dvd players” ?

Why not just simply return the disk, and report the problem, asking for a new disk, and see what happens?

To reset your DVD player, first unplug the machine, and then re-energize it and try the DVD again. Obviously, though, the problem is not in your player, because your other DVDs all play OK.
On the “Your Queue” page is a link for “Report Problem” next to the title of your “At home” discs. Click on that and then click on “Disc is damaged, scratched, or unplayable” and then just say, “Unplayable.” My parents had a Netflix disc that was in French, even after they set up “Audio” section for English. Netflix will gladly send you another disc.
Good Luck!
