New Purchased Game Has Trojan? Help?

I purchased and downloaded a game that I love.
I played it for several days without a problem.
The next time I went to play, I received a Trojan
Virus warning: Dropper.Agent.JBK referencing
the game file name. My spyware automatically
put it in virus vault. I deleted it and upon contacting the
game website they said there could NOT be a virus and
asked me to disengage the AVG so it can be downloaded.
I do not want to do that. Could this Trojan really be a false
alarm? I ran a scan on my computer and it still shows as being
quarentineed. I even tried downloading the game again and the same warning came up. The gamesite wont' do anything except give me a credit for what I spent, but I really, really want the game instead. Is there anything I can do?
