no sound on acer vista aspire 4520 laptop?

theres no sound on my laptop all of a sudden…it says everything is working properly and nothing is muted…i need my sound back..please help
never mind i just had to reset the sound

      Did you do anything to the computer like install some drivers or software? Try uninstalling those to see if the sound comes back.
