July 28th, 2008 · 1 Comment

does norton 2008 run in safe mode because i have seen people complaining about norton not available in safe mode, i am useing xp, and i am 100% sure there is something like a virus in my system, i ran a full system scan in normal mode and its telling me that no file is infected or so, will running norton in safe mode make a difference, because i found a full guide to clean my computer from malware and bad stuff but its kind of huge, i will do it if norton doesnt help, and what is the difference between running norton in normal mode and safe mode, thankzzzzzzz

Norton should scan in safe mode, yes. Safe mode allows norton to have better results when scanning your system because safe mode disables many features that run automatically in normal mode.
