Hi, my Norton 360 (which, for a lot of people out there who don't know, is VERY different from a lot of other norton products so if you don't have norton 360 but you think you understand my problem, you don't) Live Update is not working. Everything seems to be updating well, except for "Norton 360 program update" > "Norton 360 2007 Program Updates (English)". The error was "LU1812". Now I've gotten a Symantec Technical Assisant to help me, and they gotten my to run a hotfix tool, which didn't work. Then, I had to completely reinstall Norton 360, and I did, which did not help at all. In most other forums/yahoo answers, the question-asker was told to run the hotfix tool, which seemed to work for them. But for some reason it just won't work for me. Can anyone help me? I really want to keep Norton 360 up to date, but more importantly, the Live Update error is probably just a symptom, and my entire Norton 360 program might be corrupt or something!
By the way, I have Norton 360 (the exact same one, from the same CD) installed on 2 other PCs, which don't seem to have this problem.

You are not alone. I have the same problem. All other updates work fine and I have also followed all of the recommended actions without success.

I also had the same problem. When I closed Norton 360 and reopened in Internet Explorer then reran LiveUpdate it went through perfectly. Updates seem to only complete while running from IE.
