Norton 360 wont uninstall?

i have windows xp pro and i tried uninstalling norton 360 3.0 trial version and it never finishes so i downloaded the norton uninstaller tool and that ran for like 6 hours and nothing ever happened, i cant get it off my computer and its not even protecting my computer now. please help me. oh yeah i dont know if this is related but now i cant make any restore points with system restore… it says to restart the computer and try again and when i try to restore it to an earlier day it doesnt go past the last screen that says to click next….PLEASE HELP ME IM GOING CRAZY

norton isnt good do not use it

try a good uninstaller like revo uninstaller or glary utilities,one
of these might do the job,if all else fails delete all the norton folders.
