I bought a new computer. It came with 3 months free of Norton anti-virus. However I bought an anti-virus for my laptop, witch allowed me to use it on up to 3 computers. I wanted to delete the Norton anti-virus, as soon as I put my anti-virus in, but I could. Everything I tried did not work. I thought after the 3 months it would just drop off. But not only did it not drop off, it pop ups every time I turn my computer on. The only thing it allows me to do is remind me later to renew.

Go to your control panel then add/remove programs. Find Norton on the list and click remove all. Failing that Symantec’s web site has removal tools for all their products because they are so difficult to remove. If you go to their website, just search in the product you’re trying to remove and download the appropriate removal tool.

You have to remove the Norton Program from you computer. You should have removed it before installing the new program. Maybe you should remove both the Nortons and the new program and then reinstall your new program.
