Norton AV 2009 crashed my computer. Now i can only start up in Safe Mode. How do I start up in regular mode? ?

I don’t have Windows XP recovery disk. In the Event viewer, there are error messages such as the one below. What do I do?

The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service depends on the AFD service which failed to start because of the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

already deleted. now it's a problem of fixing corrupted WinXP startup files.

      While in Safe Mode, uninstall Norton. Reboot normally. Your problem is Norton thingy, that’s for sure.
