I recently had to re-format my hard disk and re-install Windows XP on my computer due to a virus attack.
I had a back up fortunately. When I ran the Norton Backup and ran it, not everything came out like it was.
My robo-form loaded without the codes, my favorites were not loaded on my IE, etc.
Is this "normal" or did I do something wrong when I ran the backup program.
Should I try it again? If so, can anyone tell me the right way to do it.

Ghost usually backs up what you tell it to back up, it can't decide for itself. There is an option in the older versions to back up selected files, maybe you clicked this instead. (I don't use it anymore, I now use Acronis - its better for me)
Also there is a tendency to believe that a back up is younger than it is?
Doing it again will only give you the same result, I am not 100% sure, but I don't think you have the option to do a part restore, but check that you didn't restore a seleted group of files, it has to be worth a look.
Regular backups are best, and automatic ones are even better, you don't have to try to remember to do it and you get fresh ones….
The best bet is to bite the bullet and vow to do an auto backup in future..
