I have had Norton Internet Security 2004 (w/o subscription) up until recently when I got Norton 360. 360 told me to uninstall Norton internet security before installing 360. So I did and now it says that it's still on my computer so I went to the "program access and defaults" thing and found "LiveReg (Symantec Corporation)" I tried to uninstall that and it says that it can't because Norton Internet Security is installed in my computer. So I am now stuck with being unable to do anything. Can someone help?

Okay, I had the same problem with my new laptop. I used this:
http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
It is a norton removal tool from symantec. Instead of uninstalling, it just deletes the files and registry keys, so it's alot quicker, and better.

Here's a full removal tool Symantec publishes. Be warned: It deletes EVERYTHING from Symantec from your machine.
Symantec Removal Tool (free): http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nip.nsf/0/252cea0e1ec34e7588256fc10003f0dd?OpenDocument
Hope that helps.
