I made the switch from norton to zone alarm security suite yesterday and i've experienced 2 blue screens since. my zone alarm is compatible with my vista so i don't know what's wrong. should i go back to norton?
I didn;t remove Live Update because it said it shouldn't be removed while there's still other symantec programs in use. i'm not sure what these programs are, so i'm really confused. should i just uninstall zone alarm, reinstall norton, and see if there's any more blue screens?

hopefully you completely removed norton before installing zone alarm. your bluescreen may be a mix file between norton and zone alarm.

please give us the details on the blue screen errors, if is because of the Norton you have uninstalled, try switching back to Norton. If this blue screen still there, scan your computer for errors.

You must have uninstalled too many programs. I know ZoneAlarm works best because I tried it. Scan your registry and free some disk space. This tool might help you:

I've been using them all for over a year now.
They are all compatible with each other and Windows XP and Vista as well as older versions of Windows.
You will have a trouble free, clean, green, mean machine.
