I recently got a laptop with a 60 day Norton Protection Center trial for free and I only have 4 days left.
How do I go about getting this?
Do i really need it?
What does it give me?
What does it protect me from?
Please help, I really need to know about this beofre my trial runs out.
Thanks in advance.

It is a condom for your laptop without some kind of protection you will get viruses if you do not like norton try mcafee without protection your pc will only last weeks when using the net. Think of it as safe sex without protection you will get infected or become a daddy or pregnant depending on your gender.

Well… Here are some good virus protection that is really good to protect your computer.
(AVG) Free eddition- This is an active program because when you try to download some program from the internet it dectects a virus/spyware or erros on that file. It also give you option what to do white the problem. AVG Free Edition Has to be updated every 2 or 3 days. (protects Virus/and all types of Spyware)
Avast Free Edition (90 day trial) - This program has excellent protection. This program scans your computer everyday!! this program is only a 90 day trial, But no worries i can give you the pro for free (Email me Erikishere3@hotmail.com) or reinstall it might work though.
When you downlaod avast and intsall it on your computer it will ask you to restart you computer and it willl perform a memory scan. There are 2 scanners one called (VRDB)- Virus Recovery Data-Base and the other is called On-Access Scanner. (VRDB) helps by giving you options what to do with the virus. On-Access Scanner give you MANY!!! scanners
These are the scanners:
Instant Messaging
Internet Mail
Network Shield
Outlook (this One doesn’t scan you have to give it permision to do so)
P2P Shield
Script Blocking
Standard Shield
Web Shield
These scanners are always running, but the never may give you lag or delay!!!!!! Also These Programs have automatic updates so you don’t have to press yes or no when a box comes out it will jsut tell you the the update is complete.
Sincerely,
Erik S.
