When I minimized a norton system scan i was given the option of running it “in the background” so as to reduce the load on the computer. But I clicked no and to not be prompted again. Now that I actually need to do some tasks on the computer and scan for a virus I longer get that option and can’t find it anywhere in the settings. Anyone know where to find it?

I have norton internet security as well. Usually when i minimize it then re-open it it gives me the option again. As long as it is still running it should still scan for viruses even if it isn’t in the background. If that doesn’t help im sure Norton has a help phone line you could look up.
