norton security protection ?

my dad purchased norton 360 security program for his laptop and i have product serial number(but not product key). i’m in school and just bought a new laptop and want to install norton 360. since it says “protection for up to 3 pcs”, how can i install/download this system into my new laptop?

      Use the same CD?

      I think you can just download the trial version, enter the product key/serial from your dad's norton 360, and then it'll renew itself to the normal version. But try it, I'm not quite sure.

      If your dad already install in his computer, just ask him to open the norton account. There should be a file or link that you can copy to your computer. From your computer, install / follow the link. It will link your norton product with your dad. The expiry date will follow with the first registration, in this case is your dad
