I have Norton internet security 2007. I recently found out that I can get McAfee AT&T internet security suit for free without having to pay a yearly fee because I am an AT&T member. Now, is there a difference between these two, like in areas of firewall protection and overall virus protection?
If there is no difference, I rather pay no yearly fee.
Thanks

Thay are both good, But not as good as Kaspersky and all free ones are crap. Just look on here and you will see all the problems with free ones. McAfee got to be good as HSBC use it.

I prefer McAfee, because it also has the SiteAdvisor with it, which is useful.

Here`s my suggestions;
These AV`s are all free and good. I prefer AVG, been using it for 3 years with no problem.

well, overall, security is security. Its good to have. They all generally do the same thing. However, not everything can protect everything. If you can, (or want) I would see if you can use both. If not, pick one or the other. They do the same thing. Norton will find things mcafee wont find, and mcafee will find things norton wont find.
