Norton slowing my internet.?

April 15th, 2008 · 3 Comments

I just want to know if I do keep Norton, is there anything I can do to make it interfere less with surf time? Short of disabling it? And thanks to all who've answered me before. I really appreciate your taking the time and will try your advice. For now, is there any way of keeping Norton and making it faster?

If you have a low amount of system ram in your computer that is your problem. Most computers only come with a minimum amount of ram installed. In most cases that is barely enough to run your operating system. Adding more ram is the key. It is not to hard to install it either.

Do as Richard J says….DELETE Norton

It is notorious for slowing down computers.

But DO rplace it with a good free anti-virus like AVASt, Avira or AVG….all of then free and used by millions of us.

      Good luck.

By the way I use a reliable British FREE anti-virus, used by 30 million. It is called AVIRA and you can download it in a minute at:

      http://www.free-av-.com

They update it every few days and it have saved me many times.
