Norton wont update?

For some reason my norton anti virus wont update now ,My internet is connected and the subscription is still good for 96 days.This is weird because it worked fine 3 hrs ago till i rebooted my pc.

Maybe this has something to do with a windows update which is set to automatic?Is there a new windows update that is messing up Norton?

My Norton Anti Virus has a Red X over it on my taskbar,Tells me to Fix and run and a update,but after I update nothing happens.

Also on XP.
