while i was on web browser on psp (which would be right now) a javascript pop-up gray thingy said that ive been infected with spyware, and said i should probably scan it. well then , about 5 minuts l8r, another pop~gray thingy comes up and axs if i want to save a file, so then i put no becuz, ofcourse thats how i got the spyware,4m downloading too much, so ten, i figure out l8r, that that file mypsp was trying to save, was the spyware scanning thing, so now what? wat can i do to my psp to remove ne spywa
or in what way will my psp be affected by thisvirus? and wat exactly do spyware and virus do?

Well viruses can make your data disappear or become corrupt and spyware can cause your system to fail.

follow the screen promts to do a free check
and it will remove all for you
you can also do a free tune up
and safety scan its good and it is free
pcleaner is good and free i use it all the time after surfing the net
also type into google f-secure free online scanner its also brill and free and removes all make sure you use the right one free on line scanner
please use a good anti virus prog like kaspersky and belive me you will have no probs like this again

Spyware can't affect the PSP, it's all platform specific, and there's none currently targeted at the PSP. Ignore the javascript popup, and just turn the unit off, it'll be fine.
